Afon Ogwen

Club Trip Location: Afon Ogwen.

Date: Wed 1st July 2026.

Spaces: Limited spaces.

Parking: Park in one of the laybys opposite the gas storage facility (limited parking), just off the A5 before Llys y Gwynt service station. If the laybys are full, you can park at the end of the road, but don't block any gates.

Meet: In the at location shown by the "map pin" (map below) at 18:00hrs.

Objective: Join the Afon Ogwen under the A55 & follow "up stream" as time allows.

Bring: Camera or phone, sturdy boots/suitable footwear.

Hazards: One loose section. Midges(?).
